Dr. Dina Chehab used her LightScalpel CO2 laser to release a tongue tie with no bleeding and virtually no damage to surrounding tissues. The wound was left to heal by secondary intention. Here are the photos of this frenectomy immediately before, immediately after, 1-week after, and 1-month after the procedure.

At the 1-month follow-up, the mother of the patient reports her daughter is no longer “fidgeting” and “restless.” The patient reports she feels “well rested” in the morning and no longer needs after-school naps. She also noted that her anxiety has decreased and her need for ADHD medication has decreased.
“Your LightScalpel made it so simple once you master the tool. And all patients have minimal discomfort and excellent healing!” – Dr. Chehab
