Osteopathically-guided release of oral restriction
This video shows an osteopathically-guided release of oral restrictions with the LightScalpel CO2 Laser and a return to proper orofacial function. The real-time osteopathic assessment by Michael Geis, DO, took place during the laser frenectomy, guiding Leonard Kundel, DMD for to the ideal oral restriction release. The ultimate goal of this procedure is to improve the whole body function. The patient, Carla, had suffered decades of facial pain that had been unresolved with conventional methods. She finally found her solution: laser release of oral restrictions in combination with pre- and post-procedure osteopathic assessment and manipulative treatment, and myofunctional therapy.
