Child’s Functional Frenuloplasty Surgery – Soroush Zaghi, MD

Watch as Soroush Zaghi, MD, of The Breathe Institute performs a functional frenuloplasty using his LightScalpel CO2 laser. The patient is a young boy who states "It feels awesome! I feel great! It feels like something just … released!" (at 7 minutes and 57 seconds into the video) and "I feel like something just got released. It feels like all my muscles just calmed down" (at 9 minutes and 38 seconds into the video).

In a recent study, led by Dr. Zaghi, it was reported that 77% of patients have described muscle tension relief, among other benefits, after a lingual frenuloplasty with myofunctional therapy. Review his study "Lingual Frenuloplasty With Myofunctional Therapy: Exploring Safety and Efficacy in 348 Cases"

The LightScalpel laser offers many advantages over traditional surgical methods, such as minimized bleeding, less swelling and discomfort, reduced risk of infection, shortened procedure time, and smoother recovery.
