Dr. Malcolm Levinkind Interview – Choosing the Best Soft-Tissue Laser in Dentistry
Pediatric dentist Malcolm Levinkind, BDS, MSc, PhD, FDS RCS, from London, UK, shares his experience choosing the best soft-tissue dental laser. He currently utilizes a flexible fiber CO2 laser and finds the results to be much better than with other lasers. Thank you, Dr. Levinkind, for your kind words.
Dr. Levinkind graduated from University College Dental Hospital in 1978. After gaining hospital and general practice experience in the UK and South Africa, he specialized in pediatric dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital. He then spent over 12 years at the Royal London Hospital and during this time was promoted to Senior Lecturer. As a clinical academic, he was awarded the Colgate prize for his research. After leaving the hospital in 1997, he has been in full-time specialist private pediatric practice and has held the post of Honorary Senior Research Fellow at The Eastman Dental Institute.
